A public crash record, folded into a small monument you assemble yourself.

This Crashcube is a flat-pack CrashCount Factory paper object made from collision 4841887: 3 Ave & St Marks Pl, Brooklyn, Sep 12, 2025, 1:05 PM ET. The record is stark: A 39-year-old moped rider hit a flatbed truck on 3rd Ave at St. Marks Place and died. Police recorded improper passing or lane use in the afternoon crash involving a parked SUV.

Inside the sleeve are six illustrated modules, instructions, and a hidden poem. Fold them together and the record becomes a 3-inch cube: image outside, poem inside, evidence held in the hand.

The cube faces are built from loose ink-and-watercolor crash studies: dark truck forms, moped fragments, signal reds, street-light yellows, and gray-blue city lines that make the record feel physical without turning it into a diagram.

Part of the solution: A portion of every sale supports safer streets in New York City.
